1.dzień

Flight to Seoul

Our journey in Korea begins with the passport and baggage check for the flight to Seoul, often referred to as the city with two faces.

Seoul

Upon arrival in Korea, we proceed to check into our hotel. In the afternoon, we visit the television tower, also known as Namsan Tower, where we enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the city from a height of 480 meters.

3.dzień

Seoul

After breakfast, we explore Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace. With a bit of luck, we catch the changing of the guard ceremony.

In the afternoon, we take a stroll through the historic Bukchon neighborhood, renowned as a living museum. Here, we see hundreds of traditional houses known as hanok.

Some of them house tea houses, restaurants, cafes, and guesthouses, while others are still used as private residences.

4.dzień

Seoul

After breakfast, we head to the area where South Korea borders North Korea.

We visit the Third Tunnel, the Dora Observatory, Dorasan Railway Station, and the Freedom Bridge. If the demilitarized zone is closed for political reasons, we proceed with an alternative program.

In the afternoon, we take a walk through the traditional and culturally rich neighborhood of Insadong in Seoul. We visit one of the typical traditional tea houses and learn more about tea brewing.

Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Suwon

After breakfast, we have a full-day excursion to Suwon. We see the 17th-century fortifications built by King Jeongjo. We also visit the Samsung Innovation Museum on the campus of Samsung Electronics headquarters.

We return to Seoul for overnight stay. In the evening, for those interested, we visit the Gwangjiang Night Food Market, where you can sample Korean culinary specialties.

6.dzień

Seoraksan National Park

In the morning, we spend more time in Seoul. In the afternoon, we take a bus ride (approximately 2.5 hours) near Seoraksan National Park. Here, we explore the national park and stay in Sokcho, followed by a walk along the city beach.

For dinner, we go to one of the many local restaurants specializing in grilled fish.

7.dzień

Punggi, Andong

After breakfast, we go to Punggi, renowned for ginseng cultivation. We visit the local market, where you can see various products made from this plant.

Then, we head to the UNESCO-listed traditional Korean village of Hahoe and the town of Andong (approximately 5 hours). Accommodation will be provided at a hotel, followed by an evening stroll through the city.

For dinner, we opt for one of the specialties of Korean cuisine: a self-service grill. In a typical restaurant of this kind, there’s a grill plate in the center of the table where we can cook the dishes we’ve ordered.

Gyeongju

After breakfast, we travel to Gyeongju.

South Korea also embodies tradition, as we see during our visit to the 500-year-old village of Yangdong. Here, residences of ruling families, Confucian academies, and quarters for servants were built.

After the tour, accommodation is provided at a hotel for the night.

9.dzień

Bulguksa Temple

After breakfast, we travel to visit the Bulguksa Buddhist Temple and the nearby Seokguram Grotto, which houses a 2.5-meter-tall Buddha statue.

We return to Gyeongju for overnight accommodation.

10.dzień

The Haeinsa Buddhist Temple

In the morning, we travel to one of the most famous Korean temples – the Haeinsa Buddhist Temple. Here, you’ll find some of the world’s largest collections of Buddhist scriptures written on wooden tablets.

Next, we head to Busan, the main port and the second-largest city in South Korea. Later that day, we visit the UN Memorial Cemetery.

In the evening, we visit the famous fish market, where you can enjoy, among other things, phenomenal fish soup.

The Gacheon Culture Village

After breakfast, we head to the Gacheon Culture Village – a colorful suburb in the city.

In the afternoon, we visit the Buddhist temple Haedong Yonggungsa. In the adjacent park, there’s an observation tower, a symbol of the city of Busan.

Next, we head to the city beach, where you can enjoy a view of the Gwangan Bridge.

12.dzień

Seoul

After checking out, we return to Seoul. This marks our last day in South Korea. We visit the Gangnam district, famous worldwide thanks to the K-pop artist Psy.

Those interested can also visit the Olympic Park and go up to the tallest building in South Korea, the Lotte Tower. Accommodation will be provided at a hotel for the night.

Wylot z Seulu

Dziś Korea Południowa pożegna nas. Po śniadaniu przejazd na lotnisko i pożegnanie z grupą. Następnie powrót do domów.
