1.dzień

DEPARTURE FROM CHICAGO

We will embark our journey with the ticket and baggage check to reach Madagascar, located 800 kilometers off the coast of Africa. This place is known for its endemic species of animals and plants that do not exist anywhere else in the world.

2.dzień

ANTANANARIVO

After arriving at the international airport and going through customs and visa formalities, transfer to the hotel near the airport. The rest of the day will be free time for relaxation.

3.dzień

ANTANANARIVO

After breakfast, we will set out to explore the main city. The next attraction of the day will be Lemur Park. These animals are an endemic symbol of Madagascar and are among the most captivating creatures on our planet.

We will have lunch at Lemur Park, followed by a return to the hotel. Dinner will be at your own leisure.

ANTANANARIVO - MORONDAVA

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and head to the airport for our flight to Morondava.

Upon checking into the hotel, we will take an evening stroll at sunset along the famous Baobab Alley. These majestic trees grow here in large clusters, creating a very picturesque view during the sunset.

MANGILY – MANGROVE FORESTS

Today we will set out for a trip to the village of Mangily, located near Morondava. We will go to the mangrove forest, also known as the mangals. We will explore the mangrove forest, also known as the mangrove swamp.

Lunch will be enjoyed in the fishing village of Mangily, followed by an opportunity to learn about the life and customs of the local population.

We will return to Morondava for the night.

6.dzień

MORONDAVA

Early in the morning, we will embark on a trip to the Marofadilia Reserve. The reserve consists of thorny, dry mangrove forests and inland sand dunes. During the journey, we will make a stop to admire the Baobab Alley once again.

In the reserve, we will search for lemurs, which have gained the title of Madagascar’s symbol. These small primates have long, fluffy tails with distinctive contrasting stripes.

We will then proceed to Morondava for an overnight stay.

MORONDAVA - ANTANANARIVO

After breakfast, we’ll have free time until we are transported to the airport. After an approximately one-hour flight, we will once again be in the capital of the country – Antananarivo. We’ll spend the night at a hotel located in the city center.

ANTANANARIVO - NOSY BE

After breakfast, we embark on the next leg of our journey by plane to the island of Nosy Be. This island is situated off the northwest coast of Madagascar, in the Mahajanga Province. It is said to be home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We will have the opportunity to see it for ourselves over the next few days.

NOSY BE

After breakfast, we will head to Lokbe Reserve. This is a pristine forest inhabited by lemurs and chameleons, as well as numerous tropical birds. Next, we will visit the fishing village of Ambatozavavy, from where we will embark on traditional boats along the mangrove swamps until we reach the reserve. We will return to the hotel in the afternoon.

NOSY BE

Free time for rest and relaxation on the beach. Following that, an excursion to an island located approximately 50 km from Nosy Be. Nosy Iranja consists of two parts of the island connected by a 2-kilometer sandy causeway. The island is a nature reserve, home to sea turtles and coconut crabs. It is surrounded by a paradise beach, and the ocean displays shades from light blue to cobalt. We will have time to relax on the beach and swim in the ocean. Dinner will be served in the Malagasy style.

In the evening, we will return to the hotel.

11.dzień

NOSY BE

After breakfast, we will sail to Nosy Tanikely, a small island that has been a national park and marine reserve since 2010. We will have a stop at one of the paradise beaches, where there will be time for snorkeling in the clear waters of the Indian Ocean and relaxation.

Next, we will head to Nosy Komba, also known as the “lemur island.” We will enter the Lemur Park, where, in addition to Madagascar’s most famous animals, you can find boa snakes, chameleons, and turtles. We will also visit the village of Ampagorina with craft shops, where you will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs from Madagascar.

We will return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Free time, which we can spend on the paradise beach.

DEPARTURE FROM CHICAGO

Today, the adventure in paradise Madagascar comes to an end. After checking out from the hotel, we will be transported to the airport for our journey back home.
