Holiday Resort in Poronin. The guesthouse is a new, comfortable facility located in a beautiful corner of Poland at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, near a river and forest. Rooms are available in 2, 3, and 4-bed configurations with en-suite bathrooms. Additionally, participants have access to activity rooms, a grill/fireplace area, a swimming pool, and outdoor sports recreation space.

The holiday camp for children and teenagers in Poronin is an excellent opportunity for active recreation and making friends in the picturesque surroundings of the Tatra Mountains. The program includes various activities, from mountain hikes to relaxing walks. Participants have the opportunity to improve their skills in various areas by participating in artistic or sports workshops. The friendly atmosphere fosters integration, and evening campfires create unforgettable moments. In addition to activities, the program also includes educational elements, increasing participants’ knowledge of the region’s nature and culture. 1.dzień

DEPARTURE TO POLAND

Departure to Poland from any airport worldwide. We hope that the adventure in Poland, which will begin the next day, will leave you with happy, unforgettable memories.

2.dzień

Arrival in Poland, followed by transportation to the holiday resort in Poronin. After a short rest from the journey, there will be dinner, followed by a meeting with a highlander family and a lesson in highland dances. The activities will be conducted by the highlander family, who will directly introduce participants to the life of a true Highlander. During the meeting, participants will learn about the customs of a highlander household and will have the opportunity to try on traditional highland costumes and practice highland dances.

3.dzień

ZAKOPANE

After breakfast, we will pack our packed lunches and head for a full-day trip to Zakopane. As always, we will be accompanied by a guide during the excursion. Upon arrival, we will take a stroll along Krupówki Street. We will visit the Natural Education Center of the Tatra National Park. Then, we will go for a walk in Strążyska Valley. We will return to the resort in Poronin for dinner, followed by an evening at the swimming pool.

4.dzień

MOUNTAIN TRIP

After breakfast, we will pack our packed lunches and embark on a full-day guided hiking trip in the mountains. Planned route: Kiry – Kościeliska Valley – “Ornak” Shelter – Kiry. Optionally, if the condition and weather allow, we may ascend to Smreczyński Pond (participants will be mentally prepared for the trip by the staff and guide). Proper mountain attire is required: hiking boots, sport/thermal clothing, ponchos, backpacks, hats. We will return to the resort for dinner, followed by an evening of integration.

5.dzień

After breakfast, we will head to a social integration meeting at the local school, where we will participate in a joint sports tournament with children and youth from Zakopane. After lunch, we will go on a guided hike in the mountains, and we will conquer Kopieniec Wielki that day. We will return to the resort for a bonfire dinner.

 

6.dzień

CHOCHOŁÓW THERMAL BATHS - MURZASICHLE

Breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Chochołów Thermal Baths. After lunch, we have a meeting at the Museum Chamber in Murzasichle. Lectures conducted by Adam Gąsienica take place in a traditional highlander’s cottage, adorned with authentic collections of Podhale folk art. We will return to the resort for dinner and an integration evening.

 

7.dzień

CAMP COMMENCEMENT

After breakfast, workshop activities will begin, focusing on Venetian masks and martial arts. There will be a lunch break, followed by the continuation of workshops (activities conducted in two groups). After dinner, an integration evening will take place around a bonfire, including a talent show.

8.dzień

PORONIN

After breakfast, there will be workshop-integration activities such as silk painting, survival skills, and astronomical workshops. There will be a lunch break, followed by the continuation of workshops (activities conducted in three groups). After dinner, an integration evening will take place.

 

9.dzień

SZCZAWNICA

After breakfast, we will pack our packed lunches and embark on a full-day guided trip to Szczawnica. It is a picturesque spa town located adjacent to the Pieniny National Park. Upon arrival, we will take a stroll in the Spa Park and ride the cable car to Palenica. The Pieniny Landscape Park is famous for its beautiful peaks: Trzy Korony and Sokolica, as well as the Dunajec River, separating it from Slovakia. On the Slovak side, we will visit the 14th-century Red Monastery. We will return to the resort in Poronin for dinner, followed by an integration evening.

 

10.dzień

After breakfast, we will pack our packed lunches and set off on a full-day guided trip to the Zimnej Wody Waterfalls in the Slovakian Tatra Mountains. We will return to the resort in Poronin for dinner, followed by an integration evening.

 

11.dzień

TRIP TO THE ZIMNA WODA WATERFALLS

After breakfast, we will have a transfer to the rope park. We will return to the resort for lunch, after which everyone will participate in a sports tournament. After the sporting excitement, there will be dinner and an integration evening.

 

12.dzień

TRIP TO A MOUNTAIN HUT - TRANSFER TO KRAKOW

Breakfast, packing, and then a trip to a mountain hut to meet with highlanders. In the mountain hut, seasonal sheep grazing is still practiced (from April to September). Additionally, there is a place where the highlander demonstrates to visitors the traditional way of making cheese from sheep’s milk. After lunch, we will depart towards Krakow. Upon arrival and accommodation, there will be dinner and an integration meeting.

 

13.dzień

WIELICZKA - KRAKÓW

After breakfast, we will have a transfer to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. It is a must-visit destination for all those coming to Krakow. Exploring the beautiful and breathtaking St. Kinga’s Chapel and the magical journey through the labyrinth of salt corridors is a perfect opportunity to discover the unique landscapes of extraordinary chambers, uncover the tradition, and history of the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

After returning to Krakow for lunch, we will proceed to explore the underground passages of the Main Market Square. They represent a unique reserve of relics of the oldest secular buildings, stone roads, wooden curbs, waterworks, and city walls in Krakow. The underground route exhibitions also feature numerous exhibits related to trade and the bourgeoisie. It’s a unique journey into the distant past, but what’s most fascinating is that this journey is accompanied by modern, advanced computer and holographic technology that enhances the experience and atmosphere of Krakow from 700 years ago when such technology was not even dreamed of by people. We will return to the hotel for dinner and an integration meeting.

 

14.dzień

KRAKÓW

After breakfast, we will continue our sightseeing tour of Krakow. Throughout the day, we will be accompanied by a guide. We will see Wawel Hill with the Royal Castle. We will take a walk through the Main Square where the historic St. Mary’s Church and Cloth Hall are located. We will also visit the Jewish district – Kazimierz. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant during the tour. After returning to the hotel, there will be dinner and an integration meeting.

15.dzień

ZAKOŃCZENIE OBOZU

Breakfast and a formal farewell to the group. After lunch, we will depart for the airport for our return journey home.
