Group meeting at the airport. Flight to Tel Aviv.
TEL AVIV- BETLEHEM
Arrival in Tel Aviv, meeting with a guide and transfer to the hotel in Betlehem to rest.
BETLEHEM
After breakfast, we will go to the top of the Mount of Olives to admire the olive groves stretched on the slopes, and the panorama of the Temple Mount and the Old Town walls. On this day we will visit: Church Pater Noster -Our Father, Church Dominus Flevit. We will see the Basilica of the Passion, and surrounding chapels and altars – including The Chapel of Insults, the Altar of the Beating to the Cross, the Chapel of the Discovery of the Holy Cross, the Altar of Our Lady of Sorrows.
SEA SIDE CEAEREA- HAIFA - CANA OF GALILEE- NAZARETH
After breakfast, we will set off to Caesarea Seaside, where we will spend a few hours before going to the largest cargo and passenger port in Haifa. From Mount Carmel, we will see the landscape of the Bahai Gardens. We will see the bones of Stella Maris -a place of pilgrimage for the worshipers of Our Lady of the Scapular, dedicated to the Holy Family and the prophet Elijah. Then, in taxis, we will go to Mount Tabor, from where there is a view of the entire area. In Cana in Galilee we will taste the local wine, and after a short rest we will drive to Nazareth to see the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Church st. Joseph. Dinner, free time. Overnight in Nazareth.
LAKE OF GALOLEE- MOUNTAIN OF BLESSINGS- AMMAN
Breakfast. Transfer to the Sea of Galilee and the Mount of Beatitudes on its shore. We will go to its top to admire the sanctuary located here and amazing views of the ruins of Capernuam, the Sea of Galilee, and much of Galilee. In Capernaum we will see the Old Synagogue, before visiting the Church of the Primacy of Peter in Tabgha, we will go on a cruise on the Sea of Galilee and taste the fish of St. Peter. In the late afternoon, drive to the border with Jordan, border formalities and crossing to Amman. Dinner and overnight.
MADABA - MOUNTAIN NEBO- PETRA
Transfer to Madaba in the morning. Here we will visit the church of St. George, then from the height of Mount Nebo we will see the Promised Land -the entire Jordan Valley from the Dead Sea to Jerusalem. We will see the remains of ancient churches and temples. The day will end with a desert sand rally. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
PETRA- AMMAN
Petra. We can see monuments carved in the rock while walking along the Siq Canyon. We will visit Pharaoh’s Treasury, Roman amphitheater, royal tombs and a number of other attractions. Dinner and overnight in Amman.
AMMAN- JERASH- BETLEHEM
After breakfast, we will go to explore the Jordanian capital. After seeing the most important attractions of the city, we will set off to Jerash, where the ruins of Christian churches and a beautifully preserved Roman city are. Transfer to the border with Israel. Border checks. Overnight in Bethlehem.
SHEPHERDS FIELD - DEIRER - RA'WAT - SIJARAL - GHANAM - EIN KAREM - YADVASHEM - BETHLEHEM
In the morning, a visit to the Shepherds’ Field and two Christian shrines: Deir er-Ra’wat and Sijar al-Ghanam. Then Ein Karem with the Church of the Visitation of St. Elizabeth
and the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. The history of the Jewish victims of the Holocaust will be brought closer to us by a visit to the Holocaust Museum – Yad Vaszem. The day will be crowned with a visit to Bethlehem – we will visit the Basilica of the Nativity of Jesus, we will look at the Milk Grotto and near the Grotto of St. Jerome in the church of St. Catherine and the Grottoes of the Nativity of Jesus. We will finish the day with a dinner in Bethlehem. Night city trip experience: “Jerusalem at night”.
JUDEAN DESERT - JERICHO - DEAD SEA - JORDAN RIVER - BETHLEHEM
After breakfast, we will drive through the Judean Desert to Jericho. We will take the cable car to the Mount of Temptation and see the Sycamore tree. At the Dead Sea, we will take advantage of the beauty of the beach and the opportunity to buy cosmetics. We will stop at the Jordan River to renew the sacrament of baptism. We will end the day with a visit in the church and tomb of Lazarus. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.
JERUSALEM - WAY O F THE CROSS - WAILING WALL - MOUNT ZION
Breakfast. Visiting Jerusalem. We will go through the gate of St. Stephen and take part in the procession commemorating Christ’s entry into Jerusalem. We will make the effort to follow the Way of the Cross from the place of Jesus’ condemnation – Via Dolorosa to Golgotha and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Time for personal prayer. Prayers to God, according to tradition, we will put the Kotel Maarawi (Wailing Wall) between the stone walls. We will see if Mount Zion is really the highest point of ancient Jerusalem. We will visit the Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Cenacle with the one inside in its interior, the Tomb of King David, and the Church st. Peter in Galicantu. The journey will be crowned with a Bedouin-style gala dinner with a folklore performance.
TEL AVIV-BOSTON
Breakfast depending on departure time. Transfer to Ben Gurion airport. Departure to the country. The program is framework. The order in which individual points of the program are implemented may change. Holy Mass every day(if possible in selected shrines).
