Rio de Janeiro

And so the exploration of Rio begins – a city full of contrasts. We’ll start by ascending to the top of Corcovado with the famous Christ the Redeemer statue. Then, we’ll take a cable car to the summit of “Sugarloaf Mountain,” where we’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the city. We’ll make a brief stop at the famous Maracanã Stadium. The day will conclude with dinner at one of the “churrascarias.” Accommodation and overnight stay in Rio.

3.dzień

Copacabana, Ipanema

After breakfast, we will head to Copacabana and Ipanema to experience the beach atmosphere in Rio. Tourists and residents of Rio gather here to relax on the beach or listen to live music in one of the nearby bars. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous ‘Selaron Staircase’ – renowned steps representing the colors of Brazil (yellow, green, and blue) and Chile (red). We’ll end our day by strolling through the Old Town. Transfer to the hotel and overnight stay.

4.dzień

Paraty

In the early morning, we’ll head to see Paraty – a colonial town with fantastic architecture and coastal vibes. Thanks to its cobblestone streets, small churches, and mountainous panorama, it is an incredibly picturesque place. For more demanding tourists, there is an opportunity to delve into the history of this place, which was once the main point of transportation for gold to Europe. After a day full of relaxation, we will go on a cruise around Guanabara Bay. After watching the sunset, we’ll return to the hotel in Rio.

5.dzień

Sao Paulo

Morning in Paraty, followed by a transfer to Sao Paulo. Accommodation and overnight stay.

6.dzień

Sao Paulo

After breakfast, we will begin our exploration of Sao Paulo. To start, we will visit the Patio de Colegio Cathedral. Then, we’ll ascend to the 26th floor of a skyscraper inspired by the Empire State Building in New York. “Banespa,” as the building is called, offers a panoramic view of the city. Before lunch, we’ll make a brief stop at the local “Wall Street.” In the business center, you can see landmarks such as the Church of St. Benedict and the National Theater.

In the afternoon, we’ll head to Ibirapuera Park, one of the largest parks on the continent with an area of 1.58 km². We’ll also take a stroll along Avenida Paulista, where buildings such as Casa das Rosas, the headquarters of the Central Bank of Brazil, and Conjunto Nacional are located.

7.dzień

Iguazu Falls on the Brazilian side

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight to Iguazu National Park. With its 275 waterfalls, picturesque flora, and fauna of the rainforest, it’s a magnificent spectacle of nature. We’ll also visit the bird reserve, home to over 800 species ranging from colorful parrots to pink ibises and toucans. Transfer for dinner and overnight stay in Iguazu.

8.dzień

Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side

One day is certainly not enough to explore Iguazu Falls, so we’ll be here today as well, but this time on the Argentine side. We’ll come face to face with the largest waterfall in the complex, known as the Devil’s Throat. For those interested, there’s an option for a boat ride on the Iguazu River for a close encounter with the waterfalls. On the way back, we’ll stop at Hito Tres Fronteras, the point where the Iguazu River flows into the Parana River and where the borders of three countries – Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil – meet. Overnight stay in Iguazu.

9.dzień

Buenos Aires

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, after checking into the hotel and a short rest, we will visit the famous neighborhood of La Boca, renowned for tango and football. Then, we’ll take a stroll through Plaza de Mayo to briefly visit the Metropolitan Cathedral. We’ll also visit the historic Recoleta Cemetery, recognized as a work of art in its own right.

10.dzień

Colonia del Sacramento

After breakfast, we will embark on a ferry ride to Colonia del Sacramento, a small colonial town located in the southern part of Uruguay. The history of this place is fascinating, as it was a bone of contention between the Portuguese and Spanish settlers. After years of dispute, it eventually became part of Uruguay. After a stroll through the historic center, we’ll return by ferry to Buenos Aires for overnight stay.

11.dzień

Departure from Buenos Aires

And so our adventure in South America comes to an end. However, let’s hope it’s not for long. After saying goodbye to the group and returning home, we can start planning our next trips to South America or other corners of the world. Perhaps this time Colombia?
